I was looking for this cup long enough and finally got it. A cup is for liquid and solid measure. I love baking and it's the best thing I bought. Can't wait to use it.

I bought this adjustable measuring cup mainly for measuring shortening for pie dough. I always knew that there was air pockets when trying to smash the shortening into my standard measuring cups. This was so great! Because the cup is clear, I could see exactly where I needed to add more shortening and know that I am getting to proper amount. I should have gotten one a long time ago! I don't know how long it will hold up, I wish it were glass. I hand washed and it came apart easily for washing. I would definitely recommend

I'm familiar with the pampered chef of this measuring device so I was a little puzzled at first. Love it now though!Editing my answer a few months after using. I'm definitely not at all fond of this measuring cup thing at all. It's impossible for me to make straight measurements. I didn't mind at first but it's been bugging me for awhile now. I ended up switching to the pampered chef version.

This is a great kitchen gadget but it's not suitable for liquids. Used this for heavy cream and filled this and my husband proceeded to grab it from me and it spilled everywhere haha. What a mess! So heed my warning and take precautions if you do use this for liquids. Otherwise, this is a great product.

These are so great for measuring shortening and peanut butter to recipes. Accurate measure and you get all of it in the recipe! I would buy this again.

I saw this being used on a cooking show and thought that would be fun to have. A very novel ides. I found it here and bought it. Expected it to cost more but was very reasonable.It worked so well I bought one for a friend.

When reading reviews, biggest complaint was that number disappeared. I found hand washing is easy . dishwasher is too harsh

Nothing measures peanut butter more easily or accurately. Then it virtually cleans itself as you release it into your recipe. Terrific all around cup.

Really useful cup replaces one I've used for many decades. With thought, this can function as the only cup needed to measure dry then wet ingredients in the same recipe without washing. Perfect for a young cook. Wish I needed another one
