Mission: Reduce euthanasia rates for medically dependent neonate kittens through action and education.
Results: Since our inception, our partnership with our local municipal shelter, Placer County Animal Services, has enabled them to reduce their kitten euthanasia rate to 0%. Now we are in the process of expanding our private hospital in the hopes of adding Sacramento County Animal Regulation by 2023.Fingers Crossed!!!!
Target demographics: local rescues and shelters
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 600 kittens to survive and be placed for adoption with our partner shelters and rescues
Geographic areas served: All of Northern California
Programs: a complete medical fostering program for orphaned neonatal kittens 28 days or younger, feral "queen" trap neuter & return, foster care for kittens up to 12 weeks
