I needed to shine up some not smooth shoes and this stuff did a great job. I did not try it on smooth shoes so can't verify the spit-shine look, but it's nice fast-drying and glossy shoe polish. Also worked on the sides of the soles which were like walking shoes (soft) to make them look new.

I sure wish I had this when I was in the Corps. It’s nice, too, that I can give the shoes a quick wipe and the shine is still there for a few days. Some people think I’m wearing patent leather shoes.

You have to be careful how you squeeze it dont squeeze it too hard or else its going to mess up you up squeeze it it over paper towel

My husband has been using this shoe polish for years and. Likes it very much. It is inexpensive and does a good job polishing and covering up scuffs on his work shoes.

If you’ve never used this before, you wouldn’t guess that there is a click-to-open valve hidden inside the attached sponge.Press the sponge hard against the shoe until you feel the click, and then the fluid will immediately start pouring into the sponge. When that first dose is used up, you have to press the sponge down hard enough to feel the click again to release the second dose.Do it all over a throw-away bag, because there might be too much running all over the shoe (especially if you keep clicking open the valve unnecessarily). But the sponge is handy for spreading it all out to a smooth finish.

Not quite a spit shine like I used to have on my military boots, it is better then just using wax polish and a brush.
