Great elevation tool for my granddaughter. She is a gymnast, and fractured her ankle last year.Really helped in the healing process to keep her brace intact, and protect her leg from re injury.

The item itself works fairly well for what it is; it's simple, straight forward, no frills, works as designed. I got it for my husband because he was about to get the first of two ankle surgeries, and we have young children so I wanted something sturdy so if the kids got too excited saying 'hi' in the morning they couldn't accidentally topple his foot/leg down. Considering he needs to be on strict bed rest for an extended period of time I was a big disappointed that it was difficult to find a way to cover and protect the cushion. I ended up using a duvet cover and pinning it all around it, but again, he needs it 24/7 basically and for quite a long time and not only for one ankle surgery but two about 6 months apart; so I worry about the longevity of this thing.with absorbing smells, being easy to clean (how to clean), and any time you pick it up to move or adjust it, you lose little chunks of foam no matter how careful you are, which makes you worried about compromising the integrity of the structure.

Can't recover without it. Better then placing pillows under your leg. Sturdy and firm!

I haven't proactively used it more than 10 mins yet, but surgery to follow and this will be used. It's very comfortable.
I look forward to using it and post-surgery recovery.
I will be making a cover for it, I think that would prevent skin irritation for long-term use.

Thank you.!

it's a bit bulky, too long, but since it's one size fits all i guess i'm on the smaller end of the spectrum. this absolutely saved me when i broke my ankle. then two surgeries 5 months apart. way easier way of elevating without having to fight with pillows. i spent so much time in bed since i couldn't walk that my back hurt and i had to constantly shift positions. every shift i was fighting with the multiple pillows to get them in a new spot. it was tiring. got this instead. it was pricy but would buy it again in a heartbeat. would give 4.5 stars if i could just bc it's too big.

Bought for a buddy following ankle surgery.

6 months later he needed work done on his ACL and I was surprised to see he dug this out of storage.

Said it was an incredible help and allowed him to rest comfortably without fear of his leg support dislodging while sleeping.

Just recently had ankle surgery. Doctor said keep leg elevated and iced. This ProCare cushion worked great, enough room for my leg plus ice packs. Even took it to my doctor since he had never seen this and he said he thought this was great!

I was very disappointed in this product. After a couple of uses, several pieces of the foam came off the smallest end and several more pieces continue to fall off. The concept is good but quality could be improved.

I had one of these and just threw it out two weeks before I found out that I was going to have foot surgery again - but didn't think I'd need it - boy was I wrong. This keeps your foot elevated at the right angle and is portable enough that it can travel with you from room to room or even on long car trips.

I had arthroscopic knee surgery and was concerned about proper elevation to keep swelling to a minimum and comfort to a maximum. The product was exactly what I was looking for. A bit pricey but my peace of mind was worth it. I'm 5'5" and didn't see a need to cut it down but perhaps that would have been better than tucking it further underneath the buttocks. :)

had foot surgery 5 weeks ago and needed to have the foot elevated (a lot). Functionally this pillow worked fine. On occasion I put another 1 inch foam pad under it to further increase elevation, but that was probably unnecessary. It is designed to elevate one leg. I was disappointed that no cover came with the pillow and given a choice I'd pay more for one with a cover. The foam is hot and you need to keep a sheet on top of the foam. My guess is that the foam is also a breeding place for bacteria harboring in skin oils and skin. I did buy a different shaped pillow as well and found that to not be as useful, although a good change from time to time. So a A+ for function, a C- for quality.

I use to have one of these due many knee surgeries, but with constant moving I lost the one I had. Now that my ankle is showing wear and already had two surgeries I needed a better way to keep my foot elevated to reduce swelling and this works better than stacking a bunch of pillows, and my leg stays in place and does not roll off like on pillows

Bought this for my father as he had surgury on his leg and has to keep it elevated for a long time while recovering. He is 6 foot and a couple inches tall and it fits him well. For short people you my need to cut a little foam as it does get a little high. Also he drapes a towel over it for a little comfort. He enjoys it greatly over pillows, it barely moves, and keeps his knee/leg in a good elevated position.
