Programs: Life In Abundance (LIA) mobilizes the local church to facilitate transformational development among the poor and the vulnerable, primarily children and single mothers. LIA trains and equips local churches, strategically located in hurting communities, so they can meet their communities' most pressing needs. This is done by equipping and coming alongside local churches to address root causes of poverty through integrated programs with sustainable impact. In 2019, LIA partnered with 193 local churches for transformational development programs in 12 African countries and 2 Caribbean countries. A total of 164,357 people were served, of which 10,140 were served in the orphans and vulnerable children programs and their guardians were economically empowered to support and care for their children. 70,251 were served through our community health initiatives, including health education and training, medical provision and water sanitation and health access and training. Through our economic empowerment programs 6,755 individuals received micro-enterprise training, skill training and were given income generating opportunities.
