I bought this usb c to mini usb cable so that I can transfer files from my old Sony CX110 camcorder to my phone (Samsung note 10). It works like a magic. I connected the mini USB to the camcorder and USB c to my phone. Sure, camcorder recognized it! I did move a file to my phone just for the test. Next time I go on vacation I wouldn't need a laptop to transfer files from camcorder (to free space).

When I ordered this, I had low expectations, but the quality of the cable I received far exceeded them. For the price, this is a very impressive find. The cable's finish is that waxy feel you get from apple charger cables and such. The package also includes a velcro cable manager for storage and such; that was a nice touch. I can't comment on the durability as of right now, but I am very satisfied with my purchase as of now.

Great length and quality cord. I accidently ordered this cord thinking it was an hdmi to usb c cord but I guess I didn't look through the description close enough because when I received the cord I realized I had ordered the wrong cord for the desired use I was looking for. Totally my fault though. Just double check exactly what type of cord ends you need before placing your order

Don't get me wrong, this cable is good, just not great. The material seems sort of cheap and the inner lining wore out after about 3 days. But it worked for me for about 4 months, which I guess isn't that bad. Capitalism, am I right? Anyways buy it, it's cheap, reliable and you can just get another one if it wears down quickly, that's just like, how capitalism works I guess. I dunno I liked it.

Lot of these cords work for charging, or date transfer, but not both. Very frustrating. This one does both.

Upgrading hardware is never an easy or simple process.....especially when you are dealing with Apple manufactured equipment! I backed up my old MacBook to an external hard drive. The external hard drive has a Mini-B plug, and my old MacBook Pro had a USB plug. Lo and behold, the new MacBook Air laptop I purchased only has a USB-C plug. (Insert frustrated face here....grrrrr....). I ran down to Best Buy, where they looked at me like they couldn't understand my problem, and showed me adapters which cost over $30.Luckily, I found this little gem, and before I left the parking lot of Best Buy, I purchased this. It arrived the next day and was exactly what I needed! And for a much better price :)

I use this cable to connect my TI-84 calculator to my computer (I got tired of using a USB to USB-C adapter). After 3 months the cable is still working fine. The cord is flexible, just the right length for my use, and as a bonus, comes with an attached Velcro-style cable tie.
