The MAF103.00 10" professional midrange driver from LaVoce Italiana is ideal for use in the highest output 3-way speaker designs. With an exceptionally powerful ferrite motor and low mass cone this driver has a sensitivity of 99 dB for extreme overall output capability and incredibly dynamic response. The 3" copper voice coil is wound on a fiberglass former and includes extensive motor and frame venting to handle up to 350 watts RMS (700 watts peak) with minimal power compression. A large diameter spider and cloth accordion surround ensures linear response even when driven to maximum excursion and beyond. Finally, the naturally damped waterproof treated paper cone produces smooth response for an easy transition to a woofer and high frequency driver. All of this allows the MAF103.00 to produce extreme SPL with remarkably low distortion, making it perfect for use in everything from extreme mobile sound systems to large format high output line arrays.
