Item was received quickly. It was perfect for a location for my koi fish to go and eat. They are enjoying their new spot.

The simple design works great at keeping fish food out of our skimmer but I wish it was available in a larger size. Unless you bend over it is hard to get a handful of food inside the ring without some of it blowing outside the ring. The fish adapted quickly but again the small size makes it harder for the smaller fish to get access to the pellets. If you make a bigger one I will buy it immediately.

The Feeding Ring was an identical replacement for one I have been using in my pond for many years! The only reason I replaced it was that after long service it was floating lower and lower in the water allowing food to escape and fall to the bottom of the pond, where my fish wouldnt find it thus wasting fish food and a little of my pond cleaning time!

I purchased this for an indoor pond that has a waterfall and descent current. It's secured with 2 loose zip ties that allow it to self adjust to the water height. I love it, so do the fish - the food goes to them instead of the skimmer.

had an over-growth of floating plants in my small pond, so I used four of these to create feeding pockets ... worked great, fish came right to them ... a little pricey, but they work

I feed my pond gold fish sinking food, but it takes a while for it to sink to the bottom of the pond. This keeps the food in place and now the fish are eating what remains in the feeding station. It is great.

My koi got used to this ring really fast. It keeps the food from getting sucked into the skimmer. Definitely less waste. I would have given 5 stars but as other reviewers had mention there are sharp edges on the fins that stick out from each side. My koi haven't gotten injured but they could and it makes no sense that they designed it like that.

I added some closed cell styrofoam to the inside of the feeder to keep it from sinking too low in the water. Works good!

We ordered this when we rebuilt our pond and added a skimmer. The skimmer was sucking all of the food pellets in almost as soon as we threw them in the water. We added a sinker weight onto the unit with fishing line to keep it somewhat in one location. It took only a day for the fish to learn how to not be afraid of it, and to retrieve their food. No more pellets in the skimmer; no more waste. This is a perfect solution.

This is sturdily constructed of thick plastic, and made with a channel that traps air underneath to assist it in staying up on the surface and not be easily submerged. It seems unlikely to warp with use. I feed loaches that like to fling themselves over the edge of feeding rings - so I found that lightweight rings weren't working as the fish would just remain draped over them, which released the feed over the whole surface of the pond. Feeding rings may not be essential per se, but they are a convenient way to get a look at most of the fish on a regular basis as well as helping more accurately gauge the amount of flake food being fed. I'm very pleased with the quality and design of this ring.

I love this thing. If you have floating plants or a lot of too water movement this is a must for keeping food centralized

At first what did I order it was bigger than I expected but placed it in my 75 gallon aquarium and the fish seem to have fun eating the food and moving the ring around the aquarium and I get a laugh out of it. Now I got to be careful not to over feed. Now my 75 neons and the rest of my buddies have plenty of room to eat and no food wasted.

But I do. This is a great floating fish feeder. I use this in my koi pond to keep the food in one spot and get the accustomed to coming to one spot. They still take off on me when I first come out but once that food hits the water, most of them come right to this feeder.
