I bought some lotus tubers off ebay and got in over my head. You have to use pots with NO HOLES in them. Why you ask? Because they GROW OUT OF THE HOLES in the pots and then by the time you realize the roots escaped the pots they're running ALL around the bottom of your pond and is eating up all the fish poop just getting longer and longer because that's what they do! The only draw back is once they are full of dirt and plant you WILL NOT be able to move it in or out of your pond deep steep koi pond. (Which you will have to drain a bit first) The only and I do mean only way you will be able to get that thing full of dirt and plant out of your steep (2 1/2 ft) koi pond is the Mountain off of game of thrones will have to go to your house and help you pick that puppy up because you will not be able to move it! I can scoot it around very VERY carefully but that's it. I had to put the empty pot in the bottom of the pond and have my kid hand me buckets of dirt at a time to fill it. However it does it's job superbly despite human error. 10 outa 10 recommend. They are a little pricey but worth it. I need like 10 more but I'll get them as I can afford them. Good luck and I hope this helps.

I bought this hoping to repair a 3 tier barrel fountain, that had a hole in the bottom, largest barrel, that I couldn't fix. It was a perfect fit and an inexpensive solution to my problem.

Solid construction, very sturdy handles. No container flexing when removing from fountain, even when filled with heavy clay and pea gravel

It's a black plastic bucket. You can get something just as good - probably more attractive - for a lot cheaper.

Tubs of this size are not easy to find. It worked well for what I needed, a place to store my garden hose in the garage. Highly recommend the product.
