Mission: OUR MISSION: The mission of LAMB Arts Regional Theatre and School is to showcase outstanding theatrical productions and innovative arts curriculum that enrich the lives of citizens in this region. OUR VISION: “LAMB Arts Regional Theatre provides its audience, performers and students first class experiences where dedication, excellence, and professionalism are the norm, affirming our belief that quality arts opportunities should be accessible to everyone. ”

Results: LAMB Arts LTD is actively undertaking a $17.5 million capital campaign to move from the Market Street location (a former elementary school) to the first Sioux City auditorium in downtown Sioux City. This campaign will restore the exterior to its 1909 appearance, reimagine the interior to house three theatre spaces plus education and meeting rooms so that LAMB can reveal to the Siouxland region even more exciting and innovative performing arts experiences. About LAMB Arts Regional Theatre and SchoolBeginning in July 1979, LAMB was born as a dinner theatre at what was then the downtown Sioux City Hilton. In 1986, with the help and support of Marvin and Frances Kline, LAMB Productions Inc. was formed and moved to 417 Market Street, the former Webster School building; LAMB Productions operated until 2006 when the 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation LAMB Arts Ltd. was created. LAMB began offering theatre education in 1989, growing into The LAMB School of Theatre & Music in 1999.During those 39 Seasons, LAMB has:
• a mailing list with 147 zip codes with season members from Sioux Falls and Des Moines.
• Produced over 250 plays and musicals.
• Produced over 65 productions for children and families.
• Had four world premieres of new works.
• Six in-house original musicals have been presented.
• Toured with the LAMB Caravan with talented young people over 18,000 miles in six states performing for nearly 18,000 children and adults, many performances in towns that were considered underserved.
• Recent arts education collaborations with Mary Treglia’s Camp Imagination, Launchpad, Siouxland Y, Girls Inc, Jackson Women’s and Children’s Home, Hunt A+ Schools, Gigi’s Playhouse, and Siouxland area schools.
• Projects of Hope (which offers other nonprofits in the area an opportunity to use one of our shows during a production as their own; either as a thank you to donors or as a fundraiser. ) Nonprofit collaborations include: NAACP, Sioux City Public Library, Siouxland Mental Health, The Food Bank, Doug’s Donors, Pier Center of Autism, Mary J. Treglia Community House, Sioux City Public Museum, Jackson Recovery, Norm Waitt Sr Y, Jackson Recovery Women's and Children's Unit, Beyond the Bell, and area Schools both public and private presenting music/theatre experiences for their students; worked with the Siouxland Autistic Families in Celebrate Autism (creative dramatics leading toward a public performances).

Target demographics: LAMB targets any individual in the tri-state area of any age who is interested in the lively arts.

Direct beneficiaries per year: LAMB Theatre plays to patrons in 147 different zip codes. The LAMB School serves 5,000 students annually through workshops, lessons, classes, and special performances.

Geographic areas served: Northwest Iowa, Western Nebraska, Western South Dakota

Programs: LAMB Theatre presents 9-12 fully produced theatrical productions annually. The LAMB School serves nearly 3,000 students through young adults) through workshops, classes, lessons and special performances. LAMB has and is associated with other nonprofit organizations in many successful collaborations.
