Size: 1.9cm Number of Items: 1 This Spears 435-007 schedule 40 white PVC adapter has a 3/4" socket on one end and 3/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) female threads on the other end for connecting two pipes with different ends. It is made of white PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for chemical and corrosion resistance, strength, and less weight than a metal fitting. This adapter can be connected to other materials such as steel, copper, or cast iron using metal-to-plastic transition fittings (sold separately) and is suitable for cold-water pressure distribution systems including irrigation, pool and spa, potable water, and chilled water. This PVC fitting has a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees F, meets ASTM International D1784 and D2466 standards for quality assurance, and is certified by NSF International for potable water service.Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries.
