Currently introducing 2 pups to the house but we have an older dog that has aggressive propensities. This collar (along with a basket muzzle) has been very helpful in keeping her in check controlling her when she gets head strong to pull.

The design of this collar swayed me. I used to be dead against a prong collar. This one has a design that just works. The chain feeds through two chrome plates on either side of the collar, if my dog pulls it gently corrects her rather than dig prongs into her neck from poor design. Also the quick release on these is great, much better than the buckle style.

This collar is so easy to use. Unfortunately I have another Herm-Sprenger collar for my larger German Shepherd that is as pain to use. Great design on this one.

The collar works really well my dog is a pitbull so he pulls and he’s strong. While using this collar if he tries to pull he instantly stops. It doesn’t seem like it hurts him just gives him some discomfort and let’s him know to stop. He was terrified of it at first but after the first few days he’s gotten okay with it lol

I have two German Shepherd puppies that are almost 90lbs and still growing. I'm not as young as I used to be and they were starting to assert their strength and pulling on walks as well as being more rebellious during training. These put a stop to it almost immediately. The difference was HUGE. We only use these on walks, during training, or in environments where they get over stimulated and are less likely to heed commands initially. We remove them once they are settled. They remain a great tool in structure and behavior. They are in great condition despite being used on walks rain or shine and with dogs that have lots of energy and strength. I did a lot of research before taking this step and in determining the best option. My dogs are my babies and, short of getting their attention, they've not resulted in any real discomfort. They've never had marks, broken skin or any indication of physical damage in use. The reviews and research led me to the perfect choice.

My title says it all! This is a great prong collar and those with bad joints due to arthritis or other issues can operate this clip so much more easily than a normal prong. I've also not had a dog pop this one off. I use one on a 50-55 pound Catahoula and I liked it so well I ordered this one for a 80-90 pound Malinois/German Shepherd. It's also easy for my 75 year old, never had a dog aunt to put on and take off. Excellent prong!

Used these pinch collars to make corrections to my dogs. Only use during walk.Rounded edges on tips make it less painful and won't cut into neck.Swat officer did our obidience training--he recommended Herm Springer. Best, guaranteed!!

We have a one year old German Shepherd who is 90 lbs of pure force. She's dropped everyone in the house to the ground by pulling on her leash. This is the only thing that's worked on her. She's a completely different dog, and she expresses no noises of discomfort or pain when wearing it, nor does she shy away from putting it on. A lifesaver.

My trainer recommended this to use as a temporary training aid for my difficult 7 month old lab. It has done the job perfectly for me and helped with my dog's issues so much that we are impressed. I would caution users to only use this type of collar with instruction from a professional trainer in person. If used improperly it may not work. I do get that look from others who perceive that it might seem cruel, but like I said if it's used correctly it works. Do your research first. It's made well and is a respected brand. Use it and then transition back to a normal collar. Thanks.

This is a much better quality than a cheaper pinch collar I own; and, the quick release makes use so much easier.

I purchased this collar to replace an old prong collar. The quality is great! And I love the quick release feature- it makes it easy to put in and off. And my dog responds well to the collar - much less stress and pulling wakling.

This collar has made a world of difference for training my rottweiler puppy. It is well made and easy to put on and remove. Walking my rottie has become much easier and enjoyable. It will not cause any pain or discomfort as long as you use this appropriately as per proper training methods.
