Do you have a dog that thinks every walk is the Iditarod? Our 8 month old husky certainly does. Harnesses made it easier to handle his pulling, and martingale collars did nothing, so on the suggestion of a husky group I bought one of these. Yes it was expensive, but it's THE model and all the negative reviews are when people got fakes.I don't believe the one I received is a fake - says Sprenger everywhere, points are not too pointy, etc. I don't have a reference as I've never owned one.First time using it was a Hail Mary bringing the dog with us to Home Depot and my 3 year old twins. I really needed the dog to behave and he's the type where everyone he meets is his next BFF. To my amazement, he learned very quickly to not pull, and he kept his composure the entire 10 minutes we were in the store! No lunging at people, no barking, just a very calm pup.

I love this product. Walking my dog has eliminated all stress now. Easy on and off.

We have a young large dog who pulls a lot. This was the perfect solution.It is hard remove and add pieces, but thats too be expected for this type of collar.

Turned my pulling jumping friendly dog into an angel on walks. I was a bit daft and didn't realize there is a clip you use to take it on and off! For a whole week I was pulling the thing apart to take it off and on, but there is a clip you just pinch to open and it falls away. I wish I could say I worked this out on my own but nope... Some kind soul at the dog park showed me. They should make it more obvious.

Wasn't a fan of these but my dogs trainer made me understand that when they are used properly they aren't a bad thing. It's actually a good thing and my Doberman really doesn't dislike it as it was introduce in a proper way. He will be moving on to a E collar soon by his trainer

Love this collar! Don't hesitate to get one like I did. My pit hound is a different dog! More responsive, listens, doesn't pull anymore. Somehow this touches on their dog language and I'm more relaxed so he is too. A MUST-HAVE item. It is completely safe and it helps their understanding of what is expected of them. Mine actually will sleep with it on. There's also the black tips you can purchase to add to the prong ends if preferred. But to me, it's not really necessary unless you like the option.

I've seen the reviews saying it is a fake with sharp prongs that can slice your dogs neck but that was not our experience. As you can see by the pic...no sharp prongs and very thick and sturdy for our 130 lb mastiff. Not sure if it's a real Springer but happy with it nonetheless for the price! And WOW what a difference in her behavior while walking Supper impressed.

We have a very sweet but very active 45 pound standard poodle who can be very difficult to walk. This collar alleviated the problem better than the head leader or harness or other fad of the day. I also appreciate that it's not made in China.

Great! Should have known about these for the last 6monts. It is a must have for large breeds training!
