Most of the pieces in this set are a choking hazard. My daughter put several pieces entirely in her mouth. I took them all away except for the larger ones for now. Another set I bought of the same brand only had one item of size that I deemed to be a choking hazard.

In the past I was confused with how the items were sized. I compared items(I have at least 7 sets) and now I understand the mission of this brand. Each item is sized for the hand of a toddler. So a strawberry and a slice of cake will be very similar in size. This way it's small enough for our little ones to hold while being large enough so it won't be swallowed. Bravo, Learning Resources New Sprouts!

Our toddlers LOVE all pretebd foods but these are just so realistic it's awesome. They have about 4 or 5 of these sets now and I'm truly addicted!

I love New Sprouts playfood its a nice soft material that does not easy dent if your little one decides to bite on it. colors and painting are very high quality! I would highly recommend the investment for this play food, for play food is ageless kids love to play kitchen for a long time, and might as well have good quality!

I buy this brand for my 16 month old daughter. To be honest, I only got this for the cute little bowl of rice, but the rest of the food is a lot sturdier than other LR baskets she owns.I rated one star less for value, since the paint job in the little avocado is not as good as their other products and it's smaller than expected.But my toddler loved the rice bowl so overall great product to add to your collection.

I got this because it was the only cultural food set I could find, but the measurements for food is so bad. The shrimp is like the basically the same size as the taco for example and the samosa which they could have just done regular size is super tiny. Its nice for young kids play but I think they could have done better with the sizes for price. At least make all the products in the set relative to each other and not just random.
