Awesome learning toy! Bought it for our newly 6 year old for Christmas and he (and his dad) have very much enjoyed playing with it and coding. We also got the accessories kit but it's not necessary, but does add to the things it can do. Highly recommend!

The pieces to build for the robot to go through fall over before the robot even comes near. It was disappointing because my grandson couldn't set up an obstacle course for Botley to follow. Otherwise it was a great toy.

Our 5 year old grandson loved this gift. It was fun to watch him and daddy "program" the robot to do the commands they wanted.

My granddaughters received this cute little coding robot as a gift from their Aunt.. they are having an amazing amount of fun with it.. I guided them the first few times if using Botley, they are now able to code him by themselves

Perfect for kids to encourage them to solve challenges. My kids (5 years old) are still using the basic features, but get really enthusiastic with the task we give to them. As time passes, we add more difficulty, and they enjoy it.

Botley is a cute, fun, inexpensive (at below $35 currently) coding toy option that is great for kids under 10 (and possibly older, as my husband enjoys him too!). He is easy to use, works well, comes with a lot of activities and accessories to try (unlike many of the expensive coding robots) and is very durable. My kids aged 2, 5, 6 and 8 have all had fun with Botley. My 6 year old has used a $100 coding robot at school as part of their coding lesson, but it wasn't any more valuable than Botley. I highly recommend him.

If you have money to burn, might as well get this.<br /><br />However, if you are like most Americans, and you're working a full time job and still counting pennies from the couch, like me, this is simply not worth it.<br /><br />This is worth about 20 slave-wage dollars.

This is very entertaining for my now 7 year old son. It keeps his attention for a long time and he really enjoys playing with it. I was really looking for something for his birthday that would be both fun and educational and this did the trick.

Bought it for a 7 year old and he really enjoyed learning and playing with it. The material is excellent - provides a good grip, and very durable. The only problem I ran into was that on making it do 90 degree turns, it didn't turn all the way. Most likely a problem with one of the motors. It wasn't so bad - we were able to complete all the activities in the booklet, and some of our own - it just took us more than a couple of tries sometimes because of it.

I bought it on sale for $56. My kids love it but it doesn't work properly. At first I thought it was my error, but it's not. I reached out to the company to find out if he has a warranty and will update here with the resolution.
