Love this thing. I can just pop in a few frozen cubes for my fish and not worry about it floating all over. Takes a few days for the fish to get used to it, but once they do, it's easy street.I've used this with frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, live blackworms and live dero (detritus, tubifex) worms.

You have to shake the cone around in the water while it floats and the worms will go though the holes. My pea puffers took to it quickly.

Los orificios son muy pequeos y mis peces no pueden alimentarse as que opte por quitar el cono y solo usar el anillo.

Only took about 1-2 days for my fish to get accustomed to this new contraption in their tank. Now they all come swarming this because my fish LOVE blood worms. This device saves the worms from falling down into the substrate. I really like this product.

I know these are supposed to hold live bloodworms, but I bought freeze-dried bloodworms. The problem is that freeze-dried bloodworms float, and so my poor bottom-dwelling corydoras never got to eat them.It occurred to me that if after filling up the cone with freeze-dried bloodworms, I flipped the cone upside down as it went under the surface of the water, all the worms would rise to the top of the cone. I did so, positioned the ring and suction cup at the bottom of the tank, and then pushed gravel up over the ring. All the catfish love this new development. As you can see in the pictures, not only do the corys feed from the inverted cone, but so does our albino bristlenose pleco. I have also caught our porthole cats sneaking out after dark to do the same. For the price, this device is awesome. Also, since the corys have been able to eat such a high fat and protein food, they've laid eggs. We have babies!

I had to buy a second one because my Discus love getting their blackworms and will get territorial around it at feeding time. Placed a second one so everyone can get a bite. These cups are tried and true for many years, are multi-purpose in the aquarium and work great.

First of all let me say that I realize the item description says that its great for live worms. Knowing this, I purchased for use with frozen worms and it did not work well. I tried just dropping cubes in, tried mashing thawed worms down into the bottom, they just didn't stick out in any noticable way, and after leaving them for an hour my fish paid no attention to the cone. The other issue I noticed is the way the suction cup attaches to the cone puts it at a weird angle if you want it at the water line. It's also held on by a tiny piece of the suction up that any larger fish could knock off without too much issue. Some other reviews have said the suction cup attaches great if you do it correctly and I'm not entirely sure what they're looking at, but can tell you that the method for attaching the cup to the ring is poorly designed. 2 stars because the rest seems well constructed and maybe would work for live worms, but the rest was a bust.

I was going to use this for my puffer fish. I feed them frozen blood worms, this does not work for that. Holes are way to small. I had to drill bigger holes for it to even work.
