These work great. All you have to do it compare one of these to a standard 1/4 inch. They are about twice the size. So I am assuming they have the capability to flow more air given your setup.

The inner diameter of the crimp end of my 3/8 air hose would only fit a 1/4 inch drill bit. I drilled both ends to the same size as the Flexzilla High Flow fittings with a 19/64 drill bit. This is three sizes up. If you don't do this your not taking full advantage of the high flow fittings. The flow is only 1/4 inch if hose is not drilled. I did it on a red rubber hose with brass ends. No damage or leaks. Be careful when blowing shavings out of hose. The picture is of the 1/4 and 19/64 bits for comparison.

Hooked up to air guns nicely, issue came when trying to connect to air line. Male fitting does not fit in standard female fitting at work. Please keep that in mind when purchasing.

High quality. Nice that you don't have to retract the fitting to insert your tool. It just pops in. Nice color and just an all around quality female fitting. Love it.

I use these things daily under demanding situations they hold up great. Very durable and do not choke off your air supply. A little expensive but worth it.

I had purchased a Flexilla air hose and picked up these fittings mainly since they were high flow couplers (to match the hose I bought). These are very nice quality and come with a wide array of fittings. The quick connect couplers connect/disconnect very smoothly/easily and you can really tell the difference from a regular air hose/couplers vs. these high flow ones - way more pressure. They are a bit pricey, but I love these.

I've purchased several sets of couplings ever since I bought an air compressor a few months ago. This is by far the highest quality couplings I now have. It is a quarter inch, but the amolunt of space for airflow is superior to other brands because of the inner vs outer diameter specs. Additionally, when you make a connection, it is literally a snap. Easy on easy off. I replaced the connector that came with an $800 dewalt compressor with one of these fittings. The from the factory dewalt fitting was very finicky, and actually wouldnt take these flexilla fittings. The Flexilla fittings take all. Havent had a problem. As I said, easy on, easy off.

I've read other's reviews of how bad these O rings are but I haven't had any issues at all. These fittings are great imo. I've tried other brands and have had leaks while using my air tools where these don't have any leaks that I've noticed.
