These Mario sets are so much fun. My 5-year-old son loved assembling them with the app. He also loves how Mario interacts with the course and with Luigi. Highly recommend for the integrated, interactive experience.

Great set. The Mario is computer animated like, has an lcd screen that displays what it scans. The only downside was instructions to put together are only online.

This is such a cool lego set. I reviewed the Luigi starter set. They are basically the same! I like them minus the need for a tablet and where the materials come from anymore.

I’m a mom okay and i love Mario and so does my son (which he is 5 and loved Lego so it was supposed to be perfect) my son has been asking for this for months, so we got it for him and i hate them! I hate Mario guy i hate this whole set! It wasn’t that hard to build i used their app and it was easy. But it’s just not meant for 5 so it’s my own fault and I’m sure it says it on the box for a different age but he loves and does so well with his regular legos i didn’t think it would be bad but this is more of a game especially with the add app features definitely go older or maybe not a wild child like i have.
