Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation

Mission: To preserve ranch land and natural resources in central idaho.

Programs: In 2017, lemhi regional land trust acquired one additional property totalling one acre located in salmon to provide a permanent home for the salmon school garden project, in addition to the two parcels located in custer county totalling 556 acres that are open to the public. Lrlt also holds a total of 13 conservation easements totalling 13,553 acres in lemhi and custer counties. In addition to our land protection work, lrlt implemented two large scale stream bank restoration projects, one on the lemhi river and one on big springs creek on a conserved property, hosted one community event and worked with twenty landowners interested in securing a conservation easement.
