Purchased this to run through a small hole in my deck. Attached it to a female end (purchased separately) and wrapped in electrical tape. Works like a charm!

You are getting a lot of cord for your money, but good lord does this thing smell awful! hahaha, it smells so bad that I had to dock it by one star. It's nauseating and requires a lot of time to off-gas outside. The smell is so strong that if you touch this cord with your hands, it will permeate into your skin and it will be hard to completely get rid of the odor.
