Cord was very good replacement, it is heavy duty for my dewalt 4-1/2 inch grinder, a tight fit in the cord strain relief coming out of the grinder. Grinder doesn't have a ground but I used the ground wire inside as a strain holder to keep wire from being pulled out of grinder. This cord was less than $8 and other cords were $11. This one was heavier than other cords, yet fit the grinder. Heavier amp capacity and less voltage drop.

Purchased this to replace the VERY worn cord on my auto buffer. No problem as I am an electrician. Easy to do just be sure everything goes back together as it came apart.

Great cord compared to the short in store stuff. Was bigger gauge wire then my dishwasher needed which is never a bad thing.

It is difficult to find a 3 wire 15 amp cord that is 9 feet long and outdoor rated. Couldn't find anything close in the big box stores. It is a SJTW type cord which means weather resistant for hard usage outdoors. Worked perfectly for replacing boat lift motor power cords.

Heavy guage for 15 amp tools.Light gauge wires cause voltage drop that will burn up your motors.

Bought this to replace wiring to an old receptacle. Very high quality and would purchase again. I had to cut a bit more of the insulation away to reach the receptacle terminals so make sure to have a wire stripper handy, it only takes 2 seconds.

Works perfectly for my DW28110 angle grinder - I just cut the neutral since this model is not grounded by cable. Doesn't come with strain relief boot, shown in picsIf you are buying one of these, I'd recommend also getting a new strain relief boot - in my case the replacement for Dewalt 330005-01.

Usually a manufacturer brags about their UL approval, but no mention here, and nothing on the cord itself. Ideal for Appliances is an opinion, it is not marked for appliance use, as others here are. NEC violation. This is what happens when the customer is allowed to buy things they know nothing or very little about. Fires are the result.

Got it to replace a unit with a burnt wire after few years of heavy usage. Works great. Though I do wish the exposed wire part was a bit longer, but nothing a little slicing at home can't fix.
