Smallest foot-print door closer. No drilling.Just drive out the hinge pin, replace with this unit, set the closing pressure, and done.Works great for light weight interior doors.May need 2 or more for heavy/large doors.Definitely will NOT completely close doors with strong latch or tight weather seal.

Installed on the front door and even with the heavy door it still closes. It will not close to latch the door but will close enough to not allow the dog to run out

I have A/C window units in my bedrooms and I also have a cat. I needed something that would keep the door closed, but would still allow the cat to open it to get in and out. I installed these, and adjusted so the door just barely closes. I will say, I've had this type of closer before., which is a good thing, because the instructions were terrible. Fortunately, I knew how to install one. I also like the wrench that comes with this, it made the installation less frustrating.

Easy to install and it uses a sensible, small wrench to adjust the spring instead of other similar items that employ an incredibly difficult hook. I'll be buying more when the need arises!

I didn't need this to close my door all the way, just assist in closing the bathroom door as recently greased the hinges and found that the door frame is not level in the bathroom, causing the door to quickly swing open if you don't close it all the way. It took about 5 minutes to install and it seems to be doing the job well enough. If it holds up for the next couple of weeks I may get another two and try them on similar doors. Way more cost effect than fixing the frame.

Yes it works. You can adjust the intensity of the door to close. I have mine to just barely push the door shut. And it works just fine. No noise at all when the door is closing either. You may need to adjust the strength higher if your door bottom rubs against the carpet or may even need a 2nd one on another hinge. All in all the product works and I would buy it again if needed anywhere else in my house.

I like this product. Works as stated. But the instructions were less than adequate. In fact they were so vague, I had to figure it out myself. First there was a pin sleeve around the pin. Can only guess it was an adapter for larger pin hole. Second, I had to figure out to spread the two tabs on the bottom so the would touch one to the door frame and second to the door to provide the push back. Then to put tension on the spring to add the tension to swing the door closed there's a pin on top that you remove and re-insert as you adjust tension with provided wrench.
