Mission: Life Enrichment Options (LEO) is a community based non-profit organization that advocates for and works to support individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their life vision and goals through supportive housing, recreation, employment opportunities, and community education.

Target demographics: developmentally disabled community members and their families

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 20 residents and 70 recreation class participants

Geographic areas served: Issaquah and the Snoqualmie Valley

Programs: LEO homes are a unique solution to the housing crisis facing the Developmental Disability community in Washington. Our homes are licensed and regulated by the State of Washington for up to 6 adults and a full time Care Provider (CP). The CPs are vetted and supported to manage these homes as independent business owners. Each home generates revenue from Medicaid Personal Care and room and board. To keep costs low, LEO pays for utilities, maintenance, some insurance and we hold the rent far below market rates to keep the business viable.
