Mission: To be a seamless system of care for those in need in Broward County by providing necessary food, ancillary services and referrals. LifeNet4Families has provided 30 years of service to the hungry and homeless of Broward County. From the humble beginnings of distributing a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the homeless, to today's provision of almost 1 million meals a year, the agency's dramatic development has reflected both the growing numbers and the growing needs of the poor in our community. LifeNet4Families feeds hungry bodies, minds and souls - welcoming children, individuals, and families with respect serving those in crisis situations with hot meals, an emergency food pantry, job training, housing placement, haircuts, and more. Our diverse family center offers hope, contact with community-wide services, emotional support, and a hand-up out of difficult timesĀ (Less)
