At a wedding a bridesmaid felt faint - "low sugar". Many people offered mints, gum, etc; but all were Sugar Free!My full sugar Lifesavers turned the tide and (with a couple more) she was able to continue her part of the ceremony.

Good old life savers. You will be unhappy if you like the cherry flavor because there were only 10 in the entire 50-ounce bag. Fortunately I like the other flavors so the absence of the cherry flavor was not a huge deal. Perhaps they should change the name to four flavors.

It's good, and my package came in perfect condition. However, I do agree that some of the candies taste s little 'off' as though they were recycled from bags that didn't sell. Still tasty and sweet, but it's noticeable. Worth it just to have a little candy at work.

I purchased this 50oz bag for Halloween. Upon opening the bag and pouring lifesavers into a bowl, I noticed several of the lifesavers were broken, smashed and crushed but the wrappers were intact. The damage must have occurred right before lifesavers were packaged in retail bags and no one noticed a third of the life savers were damaged and should have been trashed intead of packaged for retail sale. Fortunately we had other candy and didn't need to use the life savers. So, as already stated, these lifesavers are either seconds, thirds or trash level and should not be sold as a retail grade A or First product. I paid $10 with tax and I want my money back!
