I have suffered with dandruff since childhood and nothing I use ever fixed my hair without drying out my hair or causing my sensitive skin to break out. I have used anything and everything to try to remedy this issue. I have used Pureology to Redken to homemade baking soda and apple cider vinegar shampoo. Nothing seemed to work. I learned about bar shampoo after speaking with military men and women at my previous job. I decided to give it a try as I wanted to reduce my plastic waste and figured for the price, I had nothing to lose. It was awkward using this at first but it is second nature now.After a few washes, I noticed my hair was starting to look moisturized without my hair being weighed down (I have fine texture blonde hair that is dyed ginger red). My hair no longer had flyaways to it that always required a serum to flatten them and make it soft due to always being dry. Never has my hair felt this soft and have a healthy shine to it. No longer is my hair difficult to style and my dandruff is gone! My hair dresser even told me that my hair looks a lot healthier, retained its color better, and had virtually no split ends. Normally she has to take off half an inch minimum due to split ends every 8 weeks. I do not even need to use a leave in moisturizer anymore after buying the conditioner bar and my hair maintains its style all day and sometimes the next day too.I wished I had taken a before and after picture but never expected results like this!I gave the sample kit that I bought as stocking stuffers and recommend this shampoo to all that ask what is my secret for healthy hair.

This is the 1st time using bar shampoo I am impressed! My hair feels silky it has a shine that I never had before. I am also happy w/the fact I don't have to deal w/shampoo bottles anymore. I wasn't sure I was going to like the herbal shampoo smell since it was a little overpowering at 1st but once I wet the bar down got the suds in my hair, the smell toned down. I was also surprised how sudsy it is... The suds appeared w/little effort, 3-4 swipes on my scalp 3-4 more down my long (butt length), thick hair is all it took to get all soaped up. I will be ordering this product again but most likely in a different scent lol.

This shampoo works great, smells good, and avoids the damaging plastic packaging used in traditional liquid shampoos. Plus - it's easy to travel with. I'll never go back to the liquid stuff.

So many different types of shampoo make my head itch. I was recommended to try this because I am GLUTEN FREEsmells, great, lathers good and hair gets clean. Hubby refuses to use anything else now. I guess I should buy more for later. Try it!

I've been using this in a plastic soap container in my gym bag. I don't want to bring liquid soap or liquid shampoo back-and-forth in my gym bag because I was afraid it would spill. This solid bar works great and I use it as both shampoo and soap

I bought this in an attempt to transition to bar shampoo and I'm fairly satisfied with it. It has a good smell and it appears to clean my hair. I don't feel like it moisturizes necessarily and still have been using conditioner. Definitely squeeze your eyes shut though because it burns something fierce!

My hair is SUPER thick and VERY long. This little tiny bar won't last as long as I hoped. It's hard to get my hair really clean with just this product. It will leave you squeaky and in need of a good conditioner!! We really enjoy it. The smell is nice!

The first time I bought the shampoo I got 3 bars, which lasted me well over 5 months. However, I repurchased this product expecting the same 3 bars only to receive 1 bar for $10. If I would have known I would have not purchase 1 bar for $10.

My hair feels great after using this shampoo bar. I also added a conditioning bar. My heir is not oily or dry; just right!! The bars are much easier on my arthritic hands than the bottles. I keep it on a metal grill and it is lasting long time

I love almost everything about this product: the way it smells, the way it lathers (not too sudsy so easy to rinse out), the way my hair and scalp feel afterwards, the way it travels. Now that I've tried it and seen how great it is, I'm a convert to solid shampoo, as I think it is not only good for personal hygiene, but it is also good for the environment. Less soapy lather means less water to rinse, which means a shorter shower. And the paper packaging cuts down on plastic and is recyclable (I believe). The only thing that gets a somewhat negative grade is the price

I do like the shampoo bar it really cleans my hair removing oil and dirt. The smell isn't pretty but it's not foul either. I will try other types to experience different options

Washed my hair last night. The only thing I did to it was blow it dry - The body is all clean hair!Have been using JRLIGGETT'S now for about a month and Love it.

What can I say? WOW! GREAT! Maybe even can be used in shaving mug. No nasty feeling after washing hair.Great for stocking stuffer.

Leaves hair squeaky clean and fresh! I just used this shampoo for the first time yesterday and found it left my hair with lots of body, and it styled nicely. I did use conditioner with it because it was so squeaky clean, but I usually do anyway. Even though I hadn't mentioned using a new hair product, I received a nice compliment in how it looked...and the same person asked me to order a bar for them! Very nice product!

Like other reviewers, I was shocked at the size of the bar of shampoo. Don't stress about this - it lasts a long time! It took me approximately 6 months to use this bar.The herbal smell is definitely not what you'd expect for an herbal shampoo. It's very light and pleasant. Just lather your hair, work the bubbles into the scalp, and wash away. At first, your hair and scalp will feel almost as if you washed them with castile soap. It's a squeaky clean. I always follow up washing my hair with a leave in conditioner for moisturizing and honestly that system works well for my thin hair. I wash my hair approximately 1-2 times per week and I'm athletic if that helps anyone.I've recently purchased this shampoo bar for a second time and will more than likely continue to buy it. Not only do I like the bar itself, the very minimal packaging and zero waste is always ideal!
