The little Jaws on the chuck would not retract. Destroyed grease fitting. I had to end up buying an after-market Chuck. Otherwise gun seems pretty good. Failed on first use. Unacceptable

I used Teflon tape for all fittings before first use. I use Lucas Oil Green Extra Heavy Duty NLGI 2 for all zerks on my 4wd 2011 4Runner driveshaft. Works well, no leaks, great gun so far.

Great quality. Does the job. However. I recommend also getting the LockNLube grease gun coupler to make it easy to connect to and disconnect from Zerk fittings.

I was excited to get this grease gun in hopes of having something easier to use then my lever style gun. The problem is that with the gun that I got the rubber gasket plunger is way too big and it will not fit in my standard cardboard grease cartridge, so I can't even load grease into the gun to use. I basically had to use the Lincoln pistol grip on my black lever gun tube. Luckily the thread pattern is the same so I can still grease my zirk fittings on my trucks. My goal was to have a pistol grip gun in the Lincoln and still have my black lever action as a back up. Now I still only have one gun to use.Customer service at Lincoln Lubrication is terrible. I called and also emailed several times with pictures but ultimately they didn't do anything to resolve my problem. I feel like I shouldn't have to keep chasing these people down cause they obviously don't care or want to help. I'll eat the $35 or so and just not buy anything Lincoln Lubrication again.

I've had this item since June and never used it, but this month I opened it and got ready to grease my car and I can't get it to pump any grease at all, I tried to see if there was an air pocket in there, went thru all the procedures and trouble shooting methods but it still won't operate correctly! I like the design but just can't get no use out of it! My battery operated lincoln grease gun is very dependable! It seems as if the plunger is not working correctly!

The single most important thing about this grease gun is its pistol grip, allowing me to grease with one hand pumping the grease and the other holding the hose on the fitting. The next best thing is there does not seem to get the air locks like most grease guns. WOW

I've been constantly frustrated by the cheap grease guns purchased at big box stores ($15). They're super messy and are not well built. This one has plenty of threads to engage the canister to the head, an easy to use bleeder and a pretty stout plunger. Much better than the crap I purchased previously. Grease does not come oozing out of every orifice the first time you pressurize it. VERY happy with this purchase. Hopefully the last one I'll ever buy.Side Note - I'd highly recommend investing in a Lock n Lube coupler. It will make the use of this grease gun 100x better.

This Lincoln Lubrication 1134 Heavy Duty Pistol Grip Grease Gun worked like a charm. If you pay close attention to the instructions on which way to flip the plunger for your type of loading (cartridge or bulk) it works fine. I did not have any of the priming problems that some have complained about ... just followed the instructions Since I will only be using it once a year to grease the lawn tractor, I cut a stick to length and wedged it so that it keeps spring pressure off of the plunger. Hopefully that will prevent grease from seeping behind the follower during storage.

Got tired of fighting my two old grease guns (grease behind plunger, etc). Finished with buying cheap stuff from China that doesn't last long and found this one made in India. Much more solid construction, easy to load with cartridges and the handle works smoothly. Have greased some ranch equipment and it did a good job. Only time will tell about the durability but it feels like it should last for years.

Its a grease gun, I don't really understand how so many people are struggling to use this. Load it, pump grease into fittings/nipples, don't store fully pressurized.I did the ball joints on three different vehicles, replaced the tie rod and drag link on a Jeep JK with updated steering components that have grease nipples, and use this to service a small tractor. Works like a champ. Good, solid nipple seal when pumping.Took one star off because regardless of how tight I get the relief valve, it leaks a small amount of the Lucas heavy grease (though it is in a garage in the NC summer heat). Not a deal breaker, I lose a single sheet of shop towel a week to wipe it off and keep it clean in between uses. Overall good purchase, this is not a $100 grease gun made with Unobtanium o-rings and diamond coated steel but works fine for personal use, buy without hesitation!

This Pistol is exactly as described easy to fill and use. No more grease all over the place when greasing my riding mower.

I hear the stories of people buying cheap grease guns and they have headaches. This is the first one I have owned so I have to level of comparison, but I can say that it latches on to the zerks good and doesn't have greasing squirting from anywhere but the end of the hose.
