Seems like a decent enough piece of equipment and I especially like the easy plunger squeeze for single hand operation. The coupler did not mate properly which is sadly typical of the quality control that we've come to expect in 21st century America. Fortunately the coupler from the unit that this one was replacing was still available. Grease gun actually greases stuff now.

have had it for a couple of months, and there is no leaking from the unit during storage. easy to pump. very nice feature being able to change how you pump for pressure or volume. Happy I got this unit.

I wondered how well I would like the a pistol type grease gun and am not pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use plus you don't have a long handle that traps grease and dirt. It came with a black rubber stopper on end of grease gun where the hose attaches that is really pressed in really good. I thought I was going to destroy the threads trying to get it out

Works best when grease fittings are in areas without obstructions. The fittings on our Ferris ZX3 wheels and blade pulleys are in tight areas. The long hose helps but is difficult to grease. This gun will work better with heavy equipment or automotive

I got this item so I could have a designated marine grease gun. With the pistol grip it makes it easy to hold while dealing with the nipple and holding it in place to apply grease where it's needed. Way better than the lever arm. My only complaint I've noticed is that it doesn't seat very tightly on all nipples. I've had grease escape around the nipple and fitting on a few machines I work on - It clicks on and everything but doesn't make the seal it should be. All in all, it does as described, has easy ergonomics and being blue is great for color coding different grease. As for loading the gun, it's just as messy as every grease gun out there - what a surprise. Thanks for your time and good luck.

I've been searching for a quality pistol grip grease gun for a while and finally decided on this one.Overall, it seems to be well made and works well, but the coupling is absolute trash. The first time I used it, I could barely remove it from the fitting. The second fitting, same problem, only this time, I ended up ripping the fitting out of the part I was greasing.I finished greasing with my old gun that leaks like a sieve, and ordered a new LockNLube couplerto replace the worthless original coupler. Everything seems to be good now, but disappointingyou have to replace parts on a brand new product before it's usable.

Great grease gun.. Unknown if made in USA. But so far works great and looks to be good quality. Only time will tell.

I used Teflon tape for all fittings before first use. I use Lucas Oil Green Extra Heavy Duty NLGI 2 for all zerks on my 4wd 2011 4Runner driveshaft. Works well, no leaks, great gun so far.

The single most important thing about this grease gun is its pistol grip, allowing me to grease with one hand pumping the grease and the other holding the hose on the fitting. The next best thing is there does not seem to get the air locks like most grease guns. WOW

I've been constantly frustrated by the cheap grease guns purchased at big box stores ($15). They're super messy and are not well built. This one has plenty of threads to engage the canister to the head, an easy to use bleeder and a pretty stout plunger. Much better than the crap I purchased previously. Grease does not come oozing out of every orifice the first time you pressurize it. VERY happy with this purchase. Hopefully the last one I'll ever buy.Side Note - I'd highly recommend investing in a Lock n Lube coupler. It will make the use of this grease gun 100x better.

Its a grease gun, I don't really understand how so many people are struggling to use this. Load it, pump grease into fittings/nipples, don't store fully pressurized.I did the ball joints on three different vehicles, replaced the tie rod and drag link on a Jeep JK with updated steering components that have grease nipples, and use this to service a small tractor. Works like a champ. Good, solid nipple seal when pumping.Took one star off because regardless of how tight I get the relief valve, it leaks a small amount of the Lucas heavy grease (though it is in a garage in the NC summer heat). Not a deal breaker, I lose a single sheet of shop towel a week to wipe it off and keep it clean in between uses. Overall good purchase, this is not a $100 grease gun made with Unobtanium o-rings and diamond coated steel but works fine for personal use, buy without hesitation!
