These are quite a bit longer than I expected but I was able to use them on a hand cultivator. I had to cut off about 1/4 and drill through the center in order to get them to work. These are very strong and feel like they should last.

Perfect for all the handles you will ever break the rest of your life. Drill hole the diameter of riveting new wood handle once pressed in, and push rivet through. Cut off all but a 1/8, take mallet and pou d the side yiu cut so it mushrooms like the other side.

I bought a replacement handle for a favorite old shovel but the rivets that came with the handle from the big box home store HD were a little over 3/16 and the originals on my shovel were a little under 3/16. These matched my originals perfectly and I was worried I'd be getting a bag of what I already had - but nope - these were just what I needed and I am happy and now have enough for the rest of my life.
