A Must Have Tool if replacing a NOX Sensor. I used this for my 2016 Kenworth T680 with a Cummins ISX550.

I've been looking for this for a long time. This thread chaser will straighten your galled NOx sensor threads on a Cummins. It works good and is a great price.

Pulled a outlet nox sensor on a DD13 and stripped the threads. Tried to use tool but was to big for the hole.

had a Nox sensor on a x15 that needed chased, borrowed other guys and was appalled by the price for how well it performed. for $10ish, this should be in every techs box.

Had to chase the threads on a Ford scr/filter NOX sensor bung and it got the job done.

Really came in handy when a nox sensor decided to take threads with it

Works great, just a different thread than an O2 sensor

Used it on a hino NOx sensor bung that was pretty gnarly after removing the sensor. It worked great and cleaned up the threads so the new sensor went in without issue. Just go slow, use cutting oil and don't force it. I like how low profile it is. Much easier to use in tight spots than a traditional tap.

Just like the ones on the tool truck. My MAC dealer even Carrieā€™s this brand so I can warranty it through him.

Easy to use, I love the fact it has a 3/8 end where you can use a ratchet or a wrench on the end to guide it through the threads. It's a little rough to use the first time due to the black coating on it so, use a little cutting oil on first use. After the first use you're good to go!

Pulled a NOX sensor out of a one box and the threads came with it. Was able to rethread the hole with this and installed the new sensor without having to weld a new bung on it. Well worth the money.

Bought because the techs I train strip NOx sensors. Don't know how but they do it

Same thread pitch and diameter (M20) as the HCI injector used in the Duramax 6.6 exhaust manifold.

As the title says, I use this on the NOX inlet sensors in the 2015 Freightliner Cascadia semi-trucks. I haven't personally used this but my co-workes used it to fix some of the stripped out threads that were in theNOX Boss. This makes doing it 100x easier than trying to blind weld a new Boss in.
