This is a really handy socket to have for the primary filter on the 6.0. Space is tight down on the frame rail where the HFCM is mounted, and that smaller depth is perfect for getting a ratchet or breaker bar in there. Nice thing about this socket is it fits the oil filter cap as well, which is in fact the same cap as the lower fuel filter.

This is NOT for a 6.7l F-250. It was grouped together with the fuel filters for the truck, so one would assume this is the right part. NOPE! I needed a 32mm (or 1 1/434;) socket. So, now I have this big old thing to sit in the parts drawer.

Perfect fit on my '04 SuperDuty with the 6.0 Turbo Diesel. This made opening the filter housing so much easier and cleaner than it might have otherwise been. It takes a lot of torque to open these housings, so I'm glad I used the right socket, instead of mucking it up with an adjustable wrench.

Fits just like it's supposed to! Plus...I got to but another tool to try and keep track of. Fits the oil filter housing on the Ford diesel trucks.
