Very handy in tight spots.

This product is good idea on paper but not so in real life usage. As one of the customer's comment, using Wing Nut would much more practical with more leverage to turn than the knurled nut; even with the ability to use a ratchet there is still difficulty in keeping the tool on the hose clamp while tightening as the tool tend to slip/twist off the clamp unless you can get a good grip on this tool to hold it in place on the hose clamp while tightening... If space is not an issue, I would think standard hose clamp pliers are easier to use or otherwise a cabled hose pliers as an alternative in tight spaces.

The knurled nut is difficult to grip and turn; a wing nut would be better. A ratchet wrench can be used, but space limitations make that problematic. And yes..this is way over-priced...about 3 times what it should.
