I've been selling classic cars for 24 years now and have lots of vehicles that have chrome moldings and lock strips in the windshield. On my own tow rig, a 1992 Dodge pickup, we needed to have the windshield replaced, and the new gasket was so tight that my glass guy and his helper spent over an hour to get it installed. Asked about the plasticky chrome strip, he mentioned there's no way to do this. Zero, nada, nilch. So I bought this tool, and installed the molding myself. Was it easy, no, but it wasn't impossible either. I had never done that before, but that tool allowed me to get the job done.Highly recommended. Just make sure you use the best-fitting of the 4 openings.
