Purchased at a local auto supply store and this tool worked perfectly in removing the rear wiper arm on my 2007 Suzuki XL-7. As others have commented the cone shaped bolt is plastic not metal but overall the tool is well made. For the professional that may need to use on a daily bases this tool may not hold up but for the average backyard mechanic I think it is fine.

This thing worked perfectly. After trying everything else in my toolbox, this tool came to the rescue for removing the wiper arms on my Saab 9-5. The cone shaped piece screws down, forcing the claws to grip the wiper arm well. The center screw then tightens to contact the shaft, safely pulling off the arm with no damage (and no risk to your windshield).

Worked absolutely perfectly. I used this product for pulling the wiper arms off of my 2008 Saab 9-3. It is small enough to fit underneath the hood but robust enough to pull the wipers right off! very pleased.

Did it exactly what I needed. Easy to adjust. Makes quick work of stuck wipers. Don't let these negative reviews fool you. I'm glad that it has a plastic part that makes contact with the threaded post that holds the wiper. Otherwise, it could seriously damage the threads if you weren't dead on center and it was made of hard metal. Just use some patience and some WD-40 nano rust and you will be pulling those wipers off in ten minutes. Also, the cheap feeling lever arm for twisting in the torque is designed to prevent over torqueing. If it feels like it's about to break off, then stop twisting. Spray it down and let it sit. Mine took 10 minutes under pressure to pop.

Great item! Works perfect!! I already used it twice and the wiper arms are coming off very well... You have to turn the hendle under pressure and then you have to move the wiper arm.
