The grip on the tap is a happy medium, they go in and out easy, they don't fall out on their own thanks to the O-ring.Points off for rough machining on the o-ring end on a couple of them.

Ive already used them a few times, pretty good fit. They did arrived with a few dings and dents in the side and tips, came in original packaging. They all work and serve the purpose I bought them for.

I've seen some reviews saying that these are made overseas. Well, the set that I received today (06/23/2023) is stamped Made in USA and, that's also printed on the card. I've always liked Lisle tools for their cost and quality, even the overseas stuff is good for the price. However, when I can get USA made anything that I need or want, I jump on it. I actually expected these to be imported so, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that they are USA made.

This is a handy littl set I can use at work for chasing threads. It doesn't include all the sizes that I regularly use, but they are easier on the wrist than a standard tap handle if you are only cleaning threads for re-use.

Works great holds the tap securely and allows use of cordless ratchets to clean threaded holes with a tap. Also allows use of a ratchet to tap holes in tight spots where the regular tap handle doesn't fit.Bought this to replace a missing one from my set which is over 20 years old and still going strong.
