I needed to test the coil switch on the engine on my chipper/shredder, and this unit worked perfectly. I had originally purchased a cheaper unit which did not work. I highly recommend this unit, as it works well, and the light is easy to see.

I use this for motorcycles mostly and it does the job well. Good quality, made in the US, and the price is very reasonable. Definitely beats removing a spark plug, trying to ground it well, looking for a spark at the plug etc.
