Feels like all the parts are decent quality and well made but the part of it I needed the most is too short. Trying to test the coils on a 2014 Honda Accord was almost impossible because of how short the wire is. I had to improvise a lot to get my testing done. It good but not as easy as it could have been if that wire was longer so I give it only 4 stars for everything else being decent quality.

This worked well, except for the fact that the straight end of the wire isn't long enough to seat onto the spark plug in a Subaru cylinder head. (EJ253) I was able to hold it in place and still check the spark condition, and it did let me know that part of the ignition coil was going bad. (Resistance readings confirmed) I just wish the straight end was longer.

Tests for spark, but that's it. No way to tell strength of spark or any way to test length of spark. I like that it comes with the longer boots.

I'm no electrician nor mechanic but for testing it's ok. I didn't know how to use the darn thing but it tests great.

I used this tool on a vehicle that eventually had fouled spark plugs.This does indicate when the COIL FIRES, but not necessarily the spark plug - so beware of this as it's going to mess up your troubleshooting.So basically, it's too sensitive, as it might mask a fouled spark plug problem.
