Worked as it should, but it's a 1 time only needed tool. I always get these for the 1st oil change . Once I get the over-tight factory ones off, I can put my filters on properly.. (About 25 ft lbs torque). You should never need one if these if it's truly been done properly or you have physical limitations.

Couldn't find my old Lisle one bought years ago, was black didn't fit snug, maybe it was the 74-76 mm15 flutes. Love the color of this new one, fits the oil filter on my 2000 Silverado 5.3 perfectly, fits like a glove, this new one 61570 is perfect, it's a 76 mm and 14 flutes. Price was great also, just wish it had a box to store it in, but fits into my empty locking gas cap box.

Anyone with an s2000 knows how difficult, if not impossible, it is to properly hand tighten the filter 7/8 turn after seating. Not uncommon for the filter to back off due to improper torque. For less than $10, I should have bought this a long time ago to save the frustration.

Fits Tacoma filter perfect. the smaller 74mm is what fits the tacoma filter. Great price

This got the job done for me. I needed it to remove the oil filter on my VW Jetta. And I just could not get it off before this. What's good is that it allowed me to remove the installed oil filter without damaging it (as happens when I used an oil filter plier before). It also gave me to option to use my torque wrench.

This cap fit the oil filter deep and snug. It is sturdy enough to remove a filter that was stuck on my 7.4L chevy truck with little effort. The paint finish is smooth and easy to clean. i would buy this brand again for my other filter sizes I need . this one is the 93mm-15 which is labeled by metal stamping on the cup which is really handy.

36 fluted end cap socket tool so much easier than oil filter band wrench. Too new to know how it will last, but Lisle has an excellent reputation for quality special tools.

We have a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek and a 2015 Subaru Legacy. Both use the same oil filter and I can confirm that this fits the oil filters. I tried finding something like this locally and could not.

After trying a few 15 flute filters, looking for one that fits the filter used on John Deere 3033R tractors, I found that this filter socket fits perfectly with no play.
