The device is sturdy and has the look and feel of a professional device (screw driver) that might be more appropriate to store in your tool box, rather than a kitchen drawer. It is longer than another razor scraper I ordered and used which was one of the reasons it appealed to me. The handle is full sized, well made of quality materials and very sturdy. Fo someone with a larger hand trying to remove a windshield sticker from a steeply raked windshield with little space between windshield and dash, its length makes the job easier, reducing the need to change your grip to reach and remove the lower portion of the windshield registration sticker and residual adhesive. Two issues though. First, the device comes with spare razor blades in a small box and a plastic blade for certain other uses. Although the handle end is designed to be unscrewed to allow storage of the spare blades in the handle, I had to remove the blades from the box in which they came to fit the blades in the handle. I question the design of the storage solution. Second, the blade is held in place with a spring steel clip. Although the clip is very firm and seems well suited to retain the razor blade when properly used, as you push to scrape off a sticker, my concern is the ability of the clip to hold the blade safely in place under pressure (as you press the side of the blade against the windshield to remove stubborn residual adhesive). I had no issues with blade retention but my concern persists especially for use under other than ideal circumstances. It seems like a shortcut undermining an otherwise professional tool. A more positive blade retention mechanism, a screw clip perhaps, would complete what is otherwise a professional tool.
