I am a shoo auto mechanic and do heavy duty otr (over the road) road service from r a very large towing and recovery place I always used Mac or snapon caging sockets but after leaving under trucks on the highway, lending to heavy duty drivers and not getting back or them magically walking away I decided to give this a try and used a bunch of times already without an issue. Good price and quality so far.

I use this to help when changing brake chambers. My only issue is that mine came without the hex on the end of the socket that allows you to either use a wrench or ratchet.

does not fit the most common brake springs but im sure it'll work for some...

I had to use a 1/2 drill bit to drill the center out to let the bolt slip through but worth the few bucks you pay for it

I bought the socket I have used it one timebut now I have gone back to using my Rich instead it just seems a little faster that way then pulling out the airgun and hooking it to the socket every time I have to do a brake chamber

Awesome value as big box companies want to charge 60 or 70 for this socket. Missing a star as it does not latch onto your anvil like normal impact drive sockets do so I tends to slip off when your impact wrench is pointed down, but still worth it considering the price.
