Used it a handful of times so far on 6.0's. It has held up well and gives you plenty of room to get the keepers in/out.

I used this to swap over stock beehive springs for a set of BTR 660 dual springs, on a LS3. I had no issues using a little arp ultra torque on the threads and under the washer. This tool worked great.

Did a really good job with valve spring replacement. I used it on my stock LQ4 with 317 heads. Had zero issues of it stripping out as some people complained about. Just make sure you thread it in your head at least and inch. I also used hand tools, I didnt use impact. Make sure you lube the threads good and youll be set. Probably would have been faster to use one that does 2 springs at once but. I chose this and it worked great.

Changing springs on an LT Gen 3 engine that on a engine stand. I have the 2 valve, T bar style as well as the screw down type. By far, this is the most efficient. I thought the T bar type would be a better fit but you, at least the way I done it, you only do 1 valve at a time anyways. And the best part is, it is the cheapest and American made! Now if you have the head offf, then use a C clamp spring compressor. But on the engine, this is the best option.

Got the job done. Make sure to use assembly lube each spring and NO power tool! Make sure your spring is centered to get the pins in, because the spring will not move to adjust. I used this tool to take the spring off and harbor freight tool to put the spring back in.

Things go smoothly when you have the right tool and this is it. I quickly changed the springs on 3 sets of heads with zero issues. I usually don't write reviews, but I am very impressed.

Super easy to use. It made quick work of installing a test spring for the degree wheel.
