Mission: Literacy and Beyond's mission is to improve the reading skills and educational outcomes of at-risk children and their families in addition to addressing the non-academic barriers that hinder their success.

Results: Since 2015, we have given away 12,857 books to build the home libraries of at-risk elementary school children. Our GED prep students have passed 20 individual GED tests during the 2016-17 program year, and we have had 5 students complete their GED requirements to receive high school equivalency diplomas.

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 1,000 students each year with free books and educational support
