Easy set up. Remember to remove the little cardboard piece or it won't fire. Works well with a check valve

This unit cost about the same as the price increase for adding a pump onto a dehumidifier. However this one will outlive multiple dehumidifiers. It is a solid workhorse and a much better investment then a model with a pump. Of course this is also the standard for your air conditioning units as well.

Pump is easy to install with a bit of DIY knowledge. Instructions are clear and easy to follow and guide you to also check your furnace/ac owners manuals. Needed to purchase pipe and elbows to re-direct drain to the floor drain instead of into basement wall. Newly installed so cannot comment on longevity.

I am using this for removing dehumidifier water from the basement. The dehumidifier pumps that come with them have not worked for more than a year and then I had to manually remove the water. I hooked the drain line from the dehumidifier to this pump and ran plastic tubing to an outside rain barrel. Now I don't have to manually carry out the water and I have additional water outside for watering the plants. Has worked well for 2 seasons now. The pump is definitely stronger than the pumps built into the dehumidifier, and the larger tubing does not gunk up.

I replaced my old pump a 1/50 15ULS with this 1/30 20ULS. the pump measures the same tray size. I'm glad I invested in the stronger pump. Works as expected. My 8 year old pump still worked but was needing attention more often and didn't want to wait until I needed it. I'll keep it as a backup.I recommend this pump. It doesn't sound any louder that the old smaller one.

This is a very good pump, only if they wouldn't have put that little cardboard piece in the side of the pump that holds up the float before installing it. Make sure you pull in out!

Thought about this pump for years. I pump condensate up a overhead drain in the basement from my condensing boiler. It's been in service all winter. Very dependable.
