I've had this installed on my ice-machine for several years now. Pumps the water from the water-cooling and drain from the bin up to a sink drain due to lack of floor drain. Been working flawlessly for years.

I liked that it had tubing with it. And the price was reasonable. Very low operating sound and very quick on and off operation. Great idea about label for tech proforming annual maintanace to clean the the pump and sump.

Had a model similar to this that started making noises a few months ago. Today it finally failed so I installed this guy to get the system up and running again. So far so good!

It's a work horse, it had to pump 12' vertical and 35' horizontal from my air handler, it also shared a dehumidifier in the mix, it lasted 10 years without a problem then the cutoff switch failed.

So far so good; would purchase again if it makes it to at least a year mark. My last one died about 6 months after I purchased it; it was a different brand. You hear the noise initially but now I've had it and I don't even pay attention to the pump. I make sure I put a bit of bleach in the water about once a month and if I have chips of my pool chlorine tablets; I will toss a piece in, so it keeps the water clean and eliminates any gunk build up. I am very happy so far and would order again. Price was very reasonable and I was able to install myself.

This unit replaced the exact same model pump we purchased about 7 years ago. In general I would have hoped the original lasted longer but it is a minor purchase and easy to replace. I might have been tempted to spend a bit more and get a better pump but the inflow and outflow tubes are rigid and I was happy to get something that I knew would fit exactly - especially considering I did the replacement myself instead of hiring a plumber.
