Mission: Our mission is to offer a warm shelter, veterinary care, and personal attention to all animals while they are in our care and proactive methods in controlling pet overpopulation. Ltbhs has committed ourselves to educate the public on the humane treatment of campanion animals.

Results: We place an average of 500 companion animals annually and are able to help more animals every year!

Target demographics: We help companion animals find and then stay in their forever happy homes.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Helped over 500 animals find their forever homes!

Geographic areas served: We are located in Northern Michigan but rescue animals from around the country.

Programs: Animal adoption, population control through spaying and neutering, animal care assistance, boarding, veterinary services, assisted living center visits.
