Mission: Live and Learn's mission is to empower women to break the cycle of generational poverty.

Results: Since our founding in 2012,85% of the women who have entered our program have successfully earned a degree or certification and secured livable-wage employment with benefits.

Programs: Our program provides women with a highly-individualized, structured pathway to economic self-sufficiency. We focus on the five, crucial factors needed for an individual to rise out of poverty and stay out of poverty: education, career planning, life-skills development, psycho-social support, and financial literacy. We work with each woman for at least two years, staying with them as they progress along their journey out of poverty. Through their hard work, women lift themselves out of poverty and create a brighter future for their children!
