These are tough and heavy-duty. The only thing i would change about them is to make the locking ring a spring-loaded 90 degree twist instead of a direct thread. You have to unscrew a couple of full turns to unlock.

This turned out to be way bigger and heavier than I had imagined, but seems very durable for true mountain climbing use. I on the other hand, only need it for simple day to day tasks like attaching things to my scooter. But it's held up well and I have no fears of it ever coming loose or not being able to bear the weight.

It was a little larger than expected but worked out well for the safety bar at my local scout camp which required a steel beiner because aluminum on steel is a no go great for it's intended use on. seamed to be well made. IN the future may look to the medium-sized one but this one is great as long as your not carrying it too far. Action was smooth great buy but I just wonder could I have gotten away with the smaller one owell I am happy and for the price it's hard to beat.

This carbiner is amazing, its huge and thick and I have zero doubts about what it can hold. I don't use it for climbing so I can't speak to that but I do use it regularly and it has held up great.
