Causes: Human Services

Mission: "Restore Dignity One Load at a Time"

Target demographics: Our homeless and Low-income neighbors

Geographic areas served: Bitterroot Valley

Programs: At Loads of Dignity restoring Dignity is not only our mission but our priority! Many of us don’t think twice about getting a clean towel out of the cupboard before stepping into our shower or putting on freshly laundered clothing retrieved from our closets. Too many of our neighbors do not have this convenience and think of this as being a “luxury. ”We offer our services to our homeless and low-income neighbors 6 days/a week. Our services are made by appointment only and need to be made at least 24 hours ahead of time. All appointments are made by the day and not the hour. When a day is chosen, they will have from 9 am to 7 pm to come in to wash their laundry. To alleviate stress and eliminate the need for our guests to have to choose between clean clothes or spending their money on gas and food, we provide a variety of types of laundry detergent, fabric softener, quarters, and hygiene bags for both adults and children. We also offer shower vouchers and will provide towels for them to keep upon request. No documentation is needed to use our services.
