This works well to keep your meat cooking evenly and flat. Note that the handle is stationary and doesn't fold down so consider this when thinking about storage.

Great to flatten meats on the grill. Great for yummy smash burgers, grilled cheese. Great for steaks, sausages, etc. versatile. Great for roasted/grilled veggies like zucchini, squash, peppers, onions.

Good weight, size is proper for most pans. It's Lodge so it's going to be around for a lifetime. As mentioned the handle will be as hot as the pan. Lodge has a version with a spring handle that may be a better alternative for most people. Performs as advertised and will keep your bacon from rolling up.

The people complaining about how their cast iron rusted, OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF CAST IRON!!! It has to be oiled, seasoned, tempered. You don't just wash cast iron like regular dishware and stick it somewhere to dry!!! Dear Lord.....do your research....and stop using dish soap in it!!!

This product is just what I wanted. The only drawback is the handle can get a little hot since it is metal. Even though the handle is Spiral, and it says it is cool grip, you have to be careful. Other than that it is a very good product.

Nice and heavy press. Hardware fit fine but did tighten with pliers and screwdriver. Think of where you are going to use the press. Some of the grill presses have different handles and will be holding heat.
