Perfect for steaks, hamburgers, and anything that needs to be weighted down. Cast iron is such a big plus, anything from the Lodge brand is definitely a buy it for life item. Quality is top tier, very heavy, easy to put together.

I initially flinched at the relatively steep upfront cost. More than worth it. Note: if your burger is too flat after this press, it’s not thick enough.

The only thing I don't like is it has a lip. In wish it was completely flat so I could use it on bacon and food items that aren't thick.

Like the size and weight for cooking 2-4 slices of bacon and it keeps splattering to a minimum. I also find that it's made the actual cooking time faster. I like saving cook time and electricity.

I loved this press. I made beautiful smashed burgers with it. My only complaint is that it has a couple deep pits where stuff could potentially get stuck in. I would suggest buying in the store so you can see the surface. It's the same price at Walmart.

It's heavy; it does its job. I took off a star because the handle gets hot, and it should be made of wood or another material that doesn't transfer heat. Because there isn't a lot of clearance between the handle and the press itself, it's a bit hard to use a potholder with it. Had I to buy another bacon press, I'd get one with a different handle.
